These colorful elegant snowflakes will delight you not only at Christmas, but at any time of the year. They look good everywhere, but best of course, on a Christmas tree.

YOU WILL NEED: colored paper, a piece of polystyrene foam, a square, pins, a thin rubber ring, glue for wood, a knife, a pencil, scissors (Prym).

STEP 1

From a colored paper, cut a strip of 8 x 55 cm. On it with a pencil and a ruler, draw lines at 3 cm intervals. Draw along the lines with the blunt side of the knife to make grooves.

STEP 2

Turn the strip of paper over to the other side and draw lines with the blunt side of the knife in the middle between adjacent grooves. Fold the band in the form of an accordion and lay it out again.

STEP 3

Stick the desired template (see No. 29 on the pattern sheet of Burda Creative magazine, as well as at the end of the article) onto paper and cut it out. Each time, overlay this pattern between the folds on a strip of paper and trace the contours with a pencil.

STEP 4

At each bend, carefully cut out the contours of the motif so that the harmony's integrity is maintained.

STEP 5

Apply a little glue to the short side of the strip and glue the strip into the ring. In the process of drying, the glue for the tree becomes invisible, so it will not spoil the appearance of the snowflake.

STEP 6

Now collect the central part of the snowflake and wrap it with rubber on top.

STEP 7

Pin the snowflake to the foam with a pin and fill the hole in its center with glue.Wait until it is completely dry and remove the elastic. The snowflake is ready!
