Essential oils are unique gifts of nature. Their beneficial properties have become available thanks to cosmetics - oils for hair, body, face and even for cleansing.
In fact, oils have been used in skin care for more than one millennium. In many traditional cosmetic recipes, they serve as the basis. Some essential oils cannot be used in pure form. A few drops are dissolved in base oil, cream or shampoo. Sesame and coconut oil are most often used as basic components, as these oils are comfortable for the skin.
FOR FACE
Essential oils are the undisputed leaders. They have no less opportunities than high-tech peptides, retinol or hyaluronic acid. They care and moisturize and nourish, and even to some extent have a healing effect. In order to properly mix and add them to the base cream or base oil, you need the help of a cosmetologist. Aromatic elixirs or creams with essential oils are much safer. For such products, there is even a special application ritual that helps the muscles of the face to relax. Of course, each brand offers its own ritual, but the essence is the same: a few drops of oil, cream or elixir need to be dripped into the palm of your hand, rub, then inhale the aroma and spread with your fingers over the face, pressing on the active points.
The effect of oils on the skin has various beneficial effects:
Oils camelina, almond, Australian walnut and avocado, rich omega-3, 6 and 9, perfectly cope with wrinkles and sagging skin.
Oils rosewood and tea tree, frankincense and geranium save from acne and normalize the activity of the sebaceous glands.
Oils cypress, apricot kernel, neroli, saffron and roses saturate sensitive and dehydrated skin with moisture, and oils chamomile, orange blossom and lavender reduce its sensitivity.
To fats in cosmetics (and we are talking about oils!) The attitude was not very friendly. But if based on natural vegetable oils, then the product does not pose a risk of acne and black spots. There is absolutely no need to worry about this if essential oils predominate in the composition of the product. Because the mechanism of action of essential oils is completely different from that of vegetable oils. But if at the same time base oils are synthetic, for example mineral, then the product becomes risky.
FOR BODY
Body oil perfectly moisturizes the skin and restores its tone. After a shower, body oil perfectly replaces a moisturizer. But if you rub into the skin, for example, pure olive oil, there is a risk that it will leave greasy stains on clothes. Therefore, cosmetic companies are developing technologies to bring all the nutrients from oils to the skin, but not leave a greasy film on it.
It’s mainly about the right combination of different types of oils,which make it possible to obtain a “dry” version: basic vegetable oils are facilitated, which turns the product into a rapidly penetrating, non-sticky, silky formula. Such body combinations include oils anise and vetiver for elasticity orange and grapefruit - to reduce the "orange peel", petitgrain and rosewood - for the prevention and reduction of stretch marks.
HIGH HEELS
Lovers of high heels know what evening foot fatigue is. Copes with this problem, and also moisturizes the skin and softens the feet of the mixture.olive oil and sea salt.
Combine three cups of olive oil and a bag of unflavored sea salt. Put the resulting mass in the refrigerator. Use in the evenings: pour the mass into a basin and immerse your feet in it for 5-10 minutes.
CLEANING
Cleansing oils easily remove makeup, even persistent, and remove dirt well. They appeared as an alternative to milk, foam and other makeup removers a few years ago. And at first they were bewildered - how can you remove contaminants from your skin using fatty oil? However, we are talking about modern technologies that do not allow the oil to leave a greasy film. At the same time, cleansing oils dissolve grease and impurities on the surface of the skin and, thanks to their sliding texture, are very easily removed. The skin remains soft and smooth.
You can use cleansing oils as you like: with or without water. The difference will be in consistency: when in contact with the skin, oil-based cleansers turn into oil, and with water, they turn into gentle milk.
ARGAN OIL
Among all the oils that are currently on the market, argan - leader in hair and skin care.The list of its advantages includes smoothing of wrinkles, restoration after the sun, prevention of stretch marks, hair strengthening. In composition, it is several times richer in vitamin E than olive. Get it from the fruits of the Argan tree, very similar in appearance to olives. This tree grows only in Morocco. And proof of his nutritional value is often the pictures of a sprawling tree, strewn with ... goats. These animals love to eat argan tree leaves. To obtain only two liters of argan oil, 100 kg of fruit are required, and mine it exclusively by hand. Therefore many years Argan oil considered only accessible to nobles or stars.

When creating oil-based cosmetics, some companies use whipped oil technology. In texture, it looks like a cream, but when applied to the skin it turns into a very gentle oil.
To remove makeup, hydrophilic oil is most often used. It is applied to dry skin with light massaging movements. Then the hands are moistened with warm water and continue a light massage. The oil turns into a white emulsion and is gradually washed off the skin.
A bottle with an argan oil-based product is not 100% argan oil. In laboratories, large molecules are broken down into many particles and added to hair care products.This is enough so that the oil does not settle on the surface of the hair, but fills the damaged areas.
