In such a basket it is convenient to store trifles, for example, needlework accessories. You can do it in 30 minutes.
For a basket you need a thin, but dense (not loose) felt (due to it, the basket will keep its shape). The fabric here performs mainly a decorative function. The edges of the fabric part are not processed, so it is better to take material that does not crumble.

Wicker basket of old jeans: a master class
Step 1
Circle a plate and cut a round piece of felt.
Step 2
Circle the plate on the cloth. Cut the part from the fabric with zigzag scissors, while making the part a little smaller than the felt.
Step 3
Fold the parts as shown in the photo and pin them with pins.
Step 4
Cut a square out of paper - its dimensions will be equal to the dimensions of the bottom of the basket. Put the chipped parts with felt up. Center the square in the circle. Attach a ruler to one of the edges of the square and draw a line along it to the left, continuing the side of the square.Repeat with all sides of the square and make 4 cuts along the drawn lines (cut both felt and fabric at once).
Step 5
Wrapping the corners inward, fold the basket and pin it with pins.
Step 6
Wrap the basket with tape, making a small overlap. Pin the tape with pins.
Step 7
Sew the tape manually at the top and bottom. Grab both fabric and felt, and in the corners grab and tucked up details.
Done.
