How to sew an A-line tweed skirt

You will need:

- three or more flaps of fabric of small and medium sizes;

- matching threads;

- a small flap of the lining fabric;

- disappearing marker for fabric or chalk;

- threads, tailor pins, scissors, ruler.

Modeling

You can simulate a skirt with six wedges on the basis of the basic pattern of a straight skirt.

If there is a second tuck in the base pattern of the back panel, transfer it to the side seam.

From the tops of the tucks and the thigh line (along the side seam line), release the perpendiculars to the bottom of the skirt. From them, stepping off equal distances along the bottom line to flare parts.

Copy the resulting wedges and cut.

Along the line of the middle of the front add a one-piece bar under the buttons, the width of the bar in the finished form is 2 cm.

Mark up the patchwork scheme. At this stage, it all depends on the imagination and the number of colors of the remaining tissue residues.

Cut all the details. Mark each detail according to the selected colors.

Belt: Waist + 4 cm for the fastener + 2 cm for allowances. Width of belt detail 8 cm: 3 cm - width of the finished belt + 2 cm for allowances.

The belt and straps are duplicated using adhesive doubler in compliance with the direction of the shared threads.

If the details of the “patchwork” have oblique sections, they must be duplicated with a strip of thread-piercing dolevik with a width of 1-1.5 cm. After this, the sections can be cut.
