A simple way that allows you to decorate a knitted (or any other) thing with a repeating print.

A simple gray long-sleeved T-shirt turns into a print t-shirt - moreover, with the print you want. This is done simply; in addition, in this way you can mask a speck or other defect on the material. The stamp is made of foamiran, foamed rubber sheet. It’s easy to draw on this material, it’s easy to cut, it absorbs paint due to porosity, and because of its softness and plasticity it gives off well.

We make crafts with children: a pattern on a T-shirt with a stencil

You will need:

- T-shirt;

- foamiran sheet;

- pen or felt-tip pen;

- paper;

- scissors;

- strong glue;

- acrylic paint for fabric;

- a sheet of thick cardboard or a piece of cellophane;

- iron.

Printing on fabric: create your own patterns with your own hands

Step 1

Draw a full-size print element on the foamiran sheet: in this case, a feather. Cut a feather.

Step 2

Glue the stencil to another piece of foamiran, it will be easier to use the stencil. Smooth the shirt, place cardboard or cellophane inside (so the print will not print on the second layer of fabric). Place paint on a saucer or other flat container.Immerse the stencil in the ink and try printing on paper for testing. If the result satisfies you, start painting t-shirts. If you want to make an orderly print, mark up your t-shirt first. If instructions require, after drying the paint, fix it with an iron. Done.
