The word "staple" itself has German roots, its name comes from "stapel", which means "fiber bundle".
In the mid-20th century, the material gained incredible popularity. Our grandmothers and mothers with pleasure wore dresses, dressing gowns, sundresses and light skirts made of staple.
The classic staple is a blended fabric with plain weave of threads, which includes cotton and viscose. Sometimes there are canvases consisting of 100% cotton, as well as those containing synthetic fibers (lavsan). The presence of synthetic fibers in the composition reduces the creasing of the fabric.

Disadvantages
► The staple has a high percentage of shrinkage. Therefore, when buying material, safely add 5-10 cm to the required footage, and be sure to decant the fabric before cutting. The staple usually sits in length and only after the first wash.
► When wet, the staple loses its strength and is prone to deformation.
► Lassing may occur during ironing.
► Easy to crumple. Consider this drawback when choosing fabrics (it is better to take printed) and models.

► Staple products can be machine washed in delicate mode at a temperature not exceeding 40 degrees. In this case, the spin is either very weak or without it.
► Avoid aggressive detergents, especially those that contain bleach.
► Dry the product flat or on a hanger.
► Iron fabric and products from it only on the wrong side.
