Such details will make many models of thick fabrics and, of course, all types of leather more impressive.

For each loop, you will need two strips of skin, 4 times wider and about 3 cm longer than the finished leaflet. Mark the buttonhole with a soft pencil on the wrong side of the fabric, reinforced with non-woven fabric, then transfer the line of the buttonhole to the front of the fabric with sewn stitches.
Fold the skin strips in half along the wrong side inwards and glue with a fixing pencil. Paste the skin strips on the front of the fabric so that the open sections are aligned on the marked line of the loop. Stitch the skin strips, respectively, to the length of the loop, exactly in the middle of the strips. Fasten the beginning and end of the seam.
From the wrong side of the fabric, make a cut between the lines of the stitches, while starting and ending the cut without reaching approx. 0.75 cm to the ends of the seams. To the ends of the seams, make oblique notches, as a result of which small triangles are formed. At the same time, do not grab strips of leaflet.
Pull the leaves through the slot inward. The edges of the folds are aligned in the middle of the loop. Wrap small triangles at the ends of the loop inward and from the end of one seam to the end of the other seam, stitch on leaflets.
Lay the trim on the loop. Mark the ends of the loops with pins. Cut the trim, cut into the corners obliquely according to the width of the leaflet. Tuck the edges and sew on the leaves.
